Two years ago I made these for Thanksgiving treats to set at each place setting and I am thinking of doing them again this year. Here is what the poem says inside the tag. The bags contain a mix of bugles, pretzels, candy corn, orange slices and peanuts. I copied and pasted the poem to Word and arranged six on a page to cut and trim. The Old Olive is a quarter sheet of cardstock folded to overlap the white with poem.
Blessing Mix
The Bugles are a symbol of the Cornucopia, a horn of plenty.
The Pretzels represent arms folded in thanks and prayer.
The Candy Corn reminds us that during the first winter, the pilgrims were allowed only five kernels of corn per day because food was scarce.
The Fruit is a reminder that Thanksgiving is the celebration of the harvest.
The Peanuts represent seeds, the potential of the bounteous harvest for the next season if they are planted and well-tended
Happy Thanksgiving!

This is a great idea - the meaning of Thanksgiving seems to get lost and I like this reminder. I also like the way you did the folder - that style can be used for a lot of things. Into my favorites.
