This is an accordion tag I made for my Stamp Club next week. It took much longer to make than I had anticipated, but it should go quicker when everything is pre-cut.
I was totally inspired to make this based on 2 gorgeous accordion tags I saw. The first I spotted was done by ematson and had a birthday theme. She said she was casing Iris from her September DD gallery. The one done by Iris has a Halloween theme. Both are just gorgeous – check them out. I’m linking both, but if you can’t get into Iris’s, join the fan club so you can see it, along with all the other goodies offered each month – it is well worth it!!!
This really was a lot of fun to make. There is Dazzling Diamonds in a garland strand on the trees and on the ornaments. It can be tied closed with a coordinating ribbon. Fun!!!
The paper was cut 4 ½” x 10” and scored every 2 ½”, per Iris’s instructions. Clip corners and then just decorate away!!!

Sharon, this is gorgeous and I've been wanting to make one of these for so long! It just always looked so COMPLICATED but from your information it dosen't sound that bad, I mean as far as the base of the card itself! How fun! Are you getting snow up there today? WE ARE! Ughhhh! I'm going home from work soon and and cranking the heat in my basement stamping room and snuggling in for the night, maybe even the weekend, I have no where else I need to be! yay!
Awesome tag card, great work! Love it!
