This is my entry for Color Challenge 78 to use Vintage Violet, Cranberry Crisp and Old Olive. I was puzzled as to what to do to combine these colors as I'm not a big fan of the violet. Usually when I'm at a loss I can always count on my favorite little truck.
I stamped the truck and gifts in Stazon and painted. I masked the images and stamped the trees with full ink and stamping off color to create the shadowy forest. I used a sponge dauber to sponge olive over the trees to make them appear darker and lighter. I used Petal Pushers seeds stamp and craft ink to make the falling snow. I then painted down liquid applique' to make the ground snow.

I absolutely love this card. The falling snow looking like a snowstorm, the snow on the ground, your color combo, and the tree tied on top of the tree is soooooo cute. Love it!

Today I discovered that vintage violet goes really well with almost amythest! Try those two together and you might like it again. Or you can peek in my gallery to see what I did with them. I hated it when I first saw the violet, but it is growing on me *wink* I love your blizzard card

I like the vintage violet for the truck! Your scene is very beautiful; your snow effect is always awesome, and that tree on top of the truck is just too cute!
