For today's tea party tickle, we were to choose an idiom-a group of words established by usage as having a meaning not deducible from those of the individual words. I chose 'social butterfly', a person who is always looking for a party, event or a reason to be with people. She 'flits' from party to party. I am not a social butterfly, have never been and never will be.
This is also for the February MMJ challenge that Dagmar gave us. I chose butterflies, circles, tag and at least four colors. The large butterfly was cut from a stash piece with some gold Lunar Paste added. I also chose the technique which was to stencil using different mediums; I used the chalk paste through the butterfly stencil and the lustre polish through the dots, which was over an alcohol ink stash piece. If you like mixed media and would like to join our joyful little group, here is the link. A new challenge is posted the first of every month, always with lots of choices of prompts:MMJ2024 CHALLENGES ONLY (No chat Please) by Ozpom at Splitcoaststampers

Great card for both challenges, Jean. Love the colors and techniques and that super pretty butterfly and background. Hugz

Wow! Just Wow Jean! I love your so colorful center piece and how it just pops off the more subtle background. Nothing wrong with being a social butterfly!!!

The texture in this looks amazing, and the butterfly die is also quite the feature. I'm certainly more of an "you'll always find me in the kitchen at parties" person, no social butterfly here.
