Today's Teapot Tuesday theme is Valentines. I spent some time going through my very disorganized drawer of potential embellishments looking for inspiration and ended up with an intriguing mix of vintage and modern. The vintage is a sweet portrait of a girl (it comes from a set of what I guess are cards you enclose with gifts that I picked up at a thrift store long ago for a quarter.) The modern is an acrylic heart. I also found the blue-ribbon style chipboard sticker; the sentiment on it seemed appropriate for a Valentine, and it really picks up the colors from the painting. So, no stamping, no die-cutting, basically shopping through my embelliie drawer.

You mixed your vintage and modern together so well. I like the rosette sentiment. I guess that's what you call blue ribbon, but I'm sure that's what we call it here!!
