The tutorial is from Ellen Crimi-Trent and called Watercolor Holiday Cards Cards
To make mine different from the artist, I hung my bird house from a tree and placed the one bird on a limb. I also did the bird house to look different. I watercolored the sky and added falling snow and snow on birdhouse and on the tree. Put a little snow inside the box, also. Brrrrr.....looks very cold in there.
It was really fun to paint and hope I have time to do more. Hope you join us this week.

I’m so impressed that you can deviate from the design and get such a lovely outcome! I just copy what I see…maybe someday, but I have to find more practice time. A wonderful winter scene, Brenda.

Gorgeous! The rich colors are beautiful. The Cardinals, the snow, and the tree branch are perfectly watercolored. Your interpretation of making the design your own is spot on!
