This is my sample for the Color Challenge hosted Mary. Her terrific colors are: Real Red, Blueberry Bushel and White. The dessert option is patriotic.
Recently I bought a box of used rubber stamps to help support a local charity. The rocket mouse was one of the stamps. I already had the sentiment. Both of these stamps happened to be from Great Impressions.
Last week, I made several Starburst Background cards for the TLC Challenge hosted by Lyn. It's a good way to use up scraps. The technique was still on my brain, so I thought a partial starburst coming from the rocket might be cute. Linking up for Bev's TLC Challenge back in April to do a Modified Starburst.
Thanks to the Hostesses for the challenges and the inspiration. Thank you for taking a peek.
We hope you will join us for some red, white & blue creativity, with or without dessert. Have fun!

So cute, Diane. What a cool way to do the end of the rocket. One precious card for sure! Hugz

So cute and so clever! The design, the coloring, and the way you did the rocket "fire" are all superb. The 4th of July headline is perfectly designed.
