Video: Three Easy Christmas Cards-Cooler Than a Gift by Ocean Spice
Of course, I made a scene with my gnome running around in the snow. I used three die cut Christmas trees on which I placed one red ornament and a star.
I colored the star with a gold pen. I don't know where the die cut star came from....just found it in a bag. I used my fan brush on his beard.
The reason for the little red ornament is this story:
I was walking in the park one day and on the trail is a wooded area. That is where I noticed someone had placed one red ornament on a tree. I liked it and thought I would do that on my card.
My sky is made by using cling wrap crumpled up and dabbing in the purple and blue ink that has a tiny bit of water, then pressed to my card.
I made a snowbank template and sponged the snow on the ground. I did have a bit of falling snow I made with a brush and Dr. Ph. Martin's Bleed Proof White.
