My new Big Shot came in an I'm back in business! I was seriously paralyzed without it. We tried to take it apart and tighten it up, but that didn't work. Tuesday I was working at the polls until 11:30, yesterday I slept in, so today I had some catching up to do. Here it is. Today Polly challenged us to make a card inspired by our favorite artist (dear fellow SCS'ers--you're all my favorite!). I decided to go with my favorite illustrator. I do love Anita Jeram and "Birdie Brown", but my favorite is definitely Stacey Yacula. So I finally inked up this cute roller coaster stamp. I thought the roller coaster was a good travel theme (amusement park) for Stan's Tea Party. And I watercolored it for Watercolor Wednesday. Then I framed it for Lisa's CAS challenge. Feels good to be back!

So glad you're back in business and I'm impressed that you used this adorable card to meet so many challenges this week. Very clever. Well, that image just screams (like I do when I'm on a roller coaster) FUN! Love your stenciled sky and how you stenciled it darker on the base layer. Looks fabulous. I think Stan will enjoy being a kid again at his favorite amusement park. I know I did. Great card.

Great job combining so many wonderful challenges this week. That image is so cute! I know what you mean about not having the right tools for one of our most used tools in our craft rooms. My Big Shot broke about 6 years ago. I moved and bought a new one and kept the old one in my collection. I had my brother look at it and he fixed it so now I have a back up.
