I love today's colors, but had to use the closest ones I have. My card was totally inspired by Penni's gorgeous card from last week. I stamped the butterflies with versamark, embossed with detail white powder, then stamped the leaves with mint julep and blended on distress inks, worn lipstick and cracked pistachio. I added a bit of french script, in crumb cake, in the corners. The piece was layered on pink pirouette, white and then placed on the mint julep card base, that I'd embossed with the hearts on a string embossing folder. Here's Penni's beautiful card from last week.

This is just a WOW! card, Sue! I love the placement of the various elements, the touches of script and the embossed base! It was very generous of you to link to Penni's card, which is also quite beautiful!

This design worked beautifully for these colors. Love that butterfly stamp -- it's not your ordinary stamp and it looks fabulous here. You used your inspiration beautifully and created a lovely card.
