This is my card for CC875. Barbara is our hostess and she chose very vanilla, pretty peacock and pool party for her color trio. Dessert option this week is ribbon.
I decided to make a birthday card with the colors this week. I used the two berry images from the "poinsettia petals" stamp for a bit of 2-step stamping. I was able to get the pool party color in that way.
The January sentiment is from the Stampin'-Up "days to remember" set. My designer paper is from the "brightly gleaming" collection. I had to fuss with the photo again because of the copper metallic on the paper. I have trouble photographing metallics.
I used the velvet ribbon to divide my panels and then added a few pretty peacock faceted enamel dots.
That's my sample for this week. The team will be taking next week off. We will be running these same colors for 2 weeks. Merry Christmas everyone.

I've always loved that piece of dp, Mary, and you've used it so well. The velvet ribbon is a plus and definitely takes this up a notch. Beautiful birthday card~
