For her challenge, I pulled out this stamped card base which was some sort of failed fold. Having stamped both the back and front, I was reluctant to throw it out and it has been hanging round my desk ever since. Time to use it up. It was originally 1 1/2" deep, probably originally intended as a diorama, so I took it apart and trimmed it and reassembled it to be 3/4" deep. The bird (Serendipity Stamps), copper-embossed cage with Verdigris (Spellbinders) and ivy (Sue Wilson) were all pulled out of my oddments box, along with the pearl string. The K&Co border is extremely old. I added some pearls in among the ivy and a sentiment from Unity cut with a Spellbinders label and edged in gold.

It is a great feeling to use something that did not turn out the first time and also to get it out of the hanging around box. All the die cuts are amazing and really add to the scene you created in your shadow box Sabrina. Thank you for this fantastic card sample.
