Wow! Hard to believe I am posting a card. I don't think I have posted since July when I broke my knee cap. It is still very hard to sit in a chair, on a sofa, or anywhere else. I am going into my 9th week of PT and more to go. I can walk now with just a small brace. So, I will be stretched out on a sofa with my laptop to comment on your cards.
Of course, winter and snowman cards are my favorite to make so I had to give it a try.
I do have the snowman and ornaments as in my inspiration but the trees are changed to greenery.
I added my ink to my palette and misted it. Then, I dipped my crushed Saran Wrap into it and then onto my card for the sky. I colored the image with Copics and made some snowbanks with my handmade template. Last, I added the sentiment and stamped a few snowflakes.

How very good to see you posting again! Great Copic coloring of your winter image! Love the sky you created with the plastic wrap and ink technique. Your snowbanks look so realistic with your handmade template!

ok, I admit.. i had to run and make lunch for DH so I hadn't taken the time to read the description. WOW, so very sorry to hear about your knee and all of my best thoughts for good progress in therapy are with you!! I absolutely love this card and didn't take a moment to say that the sky and snowbanks are just the best version of that illusion that i have ever seen. so soft and subtle and then interest filled as you look at it longer. the image is delightful, and your coloring is outstanding, but the whole composition is just a WOW WOW WOW. what a beautiful gift your special friend or family will be receiving. TFS and inspiring me to try harder. hahah this year so far, two wonky shoulders and a bad thumb are keeping me at simpler projects. Hugs and take good care, Teresa
