Initially I thought of using a nice painted wooden heart embellishment from my box, but I thought about times I've used hearts for punch art, and I went right back to MMTPT50 in 2009, when I made a a chicken based on something I had come up with for an IC challenge not long before.
I used blue chalk for the background, stamped the grass and foreground. My chicken body is a tad under a quarter of a large circle. The wing is a scalloped heart, folded in half (and I lined it with a scrap of DP. The wattle, crest and tails are also all hearts. I stamped the chicken wire over as much of the base as it would cover, didn't have time to to the matching to cover the whole thing and didn't think it mattered. Here are my original IC166 chicky gift tags! . And when I went to look for them, I actually still have the other card I made for that challenge. Wow!
Will be along to comment after work or tomorrow.

So creative. Love this chickie and I like the way you worked in all the little hearts. That grass stamp makes me want to get my set out. Super cute Sabrina!

Your Funky Chickens and this Hearty one are all very cute! The plaid paper for the Chicken is nice and Hearty, in a different way. I love it all. So fun.

What a super plaid chicken with all those delightful "chicken parts" created with hearts!! Yes, chickens seem to be the in thing right now .... my son just built a wonderful chicken house in his back yard and installed a dozen hens!
