I made a sky with the tutorial. After brushing on my inks to watercolor paper with a 1/2" flat watercolor brush, I misted with water. Then, I placed my stencil over the panel. Let dry before removing. If any area is not completely dry, heat dry.
Panel with image is popped up with dimensionals.
You can use a stencil, stamp, or a variety of items with this technique.

BG is beautiful, with the watercolor and stenciling. Silhouette is perfect! This is a scene that depicts the "Reason for the Season". Gorgeous card.

This sky is amazing, Brenda. You did such a great job with this technique. Love your scene with the wise men. I studied the Queen of Sheba passage this week and this would work for her trip too. Beautifully done! Hugz
