This is for Wednesday's new watercolor challenge-watercolor smooshing, and today's MIX and F4A-cozy up with a quilt and wheels.
I sure do admire quilters. I don't have any in my home but if I did, they would be modern, bold and full of pattern. I used a new set of neon watercolors for the background, using acetate to add them, stamped the watch gear stamp in many colors and then cut into 1 inch squares. After stamping the Stamp It! stamp to give me some lines to follow, I popped them up. I love watches and clocks, although I don't wear a watch any more. I added some metal spirals and searched for a time quote online. I thought this Paul Harvey quote was very appropriate. Who remembers Paul Harvey?

I keep going back and looking at this cool card....first I think quilting is an art. You captured it with all the colorful squares done with the technique. The added stamping of the gears gives it a nice touch along with the clips. TFS Enjoy the beautiful summer day today. Yes I remember Paul Harvey.

Wow. Fabulous background. Consider that I would have posted this in my favourites except that I've already prepped the post and there is no way I'm trying to edit it. I absolutely love this. Never heard of Paul Harvey, but it's a great quote. I'd be lost without a watch.
So what first caught my eye were the spirals because I just brought them up on an artsy ZOOM meeting on Friday! Next, that sentiment! I mean, really how true! There have always been times like we are living through. And I always loved Paul Harvey! And now you know the ...rest of the story! And then, of course, your quilt blocks are gorgeous!
