CT = Rise UP, Eyes Up . . .for me, the Ultimate is the Resurrection and Rising from the dead!
First let me say, I've owned this old wood block stamp "forever" but rarely use is as it is quite difficult to get a good image. It is made up of hundreds (maybe thousands) of tiny pixelated dots. So today I took it off the wood and put onto cling foam so I could try it in my stamp platform. - Hurray! I got a good image without wasting a ream of cardstock! I enhanced this with prismacolor pencils to accentuate the elements. and added some White nuvo drops to the flower centers.
Next I started cranking out letters on my big shot to make the sentiment -(had to do a few extra "i' s cause I kept losing the dots). Stamped the Hallelujah with a birthstone rainbow pad to co-ordinate with the pinks, purple and blue in the other elements then fussy cut and lifted up with mounting foam.
It was a hard decision, but I finally settled on this card as my favorite for the month based both on the ultimate theme of Resurrection and because I finally conquered a difficult (for me) to use stamp.
