I made this card for this week's featured stamper challenge. Julie is our hostess and she is featuring Meisu4 (Pauline). I had so much fun going through Pauline's gallery, but I kept coming back to this fabulous card because I am in dire need of sympathy cards: Kindest Expressions by meisu4 at Splitcoaststampers.
I loved the copper embossing Pauline used on black cardstock. I changed this card's orientation, the tree and sentiment stamps used and I used gold embossing instead of copper. I also added a dotted detail using a spellbinder's die.
I had so much fun making this card today so thank you for the great inspiration today Pauline and enjoy your well-deserved week in the spotlight too. And thank you Julie for the great challenge and thanks for looking today. ~Karen.

Karen, this is stunning. The gold and black are dramatic but yet so appropriate for this type of card. I LOVE that tree image, and agree with Stacy that the gold peeking out through the stitching adds a perfect extra touch. Fabulous!
