For Judy's Dark Cardstock Techniques TLC challenge. I recently got some glossy black card and was keen to try out the cling-wrap background as I saw it done by Robin for a HYCCT challenge way back. I used spray starch and Lumiere pearlescent paints. For the die-cut layer I used normal black card. Masking off the moon I swiped Versamark over the sky area and dusted in some dark blue Perfect Pearls, buffing it in with a soft cloth. I added gold card behind the star apertures. For the moon and the fairy, I added a few drops of water to gold and purple interference Perfect Pearls and painted them on - adding Stickles to the fairy's wings and to the star she holds in her hand. I popped this layer up on foam and added the finished piece to a black glitter card layer. Found some star sequins to finish it off, and thought about a die-cut sentiment but haven't added anything yet.
Oh yes - I spattered the upper sky layer with some gold Twinkling H2Os. As you can imagine with the shimmer and sheen, this was almost impossible to take a good picture of :-(.
