Yay! I'm caught up with round 12 of the Alphabet challenge. This week's letter is L. My L's are Layered Gesso tutorial, lace, and Live Like You Mean It stamp set.
I sponged the edges of the layered gesso piece and adhered it to the card base. I used SU markers to color the flower and stamp it several times. I then stamped the sentiment a word at a time so that I could get it in this configuration since it is a long, straight sentiment. I softly sponged Tempting Turquoise over the oval to take the brightness off the white cs and sponged the edge with black.
The oval is popped up with foam tape. I don't recall the last time I used this stamp set, it was good to ink it up.
Thanks for looking!

Such a gorgeous card, and I have to say that lace with the leaves was a stand out for me.

This is such a wow card Catherine! I am super impressed with this amazing bg you created and I thank you for sharing the tutorial on how to do this too! I know how hard it is to do a sentiment like this, and you got terrific results too (which is very hard to do). I love these flowers and I am so thrilled you inked them up. What a truly gorgeous card this is for the letter L alphabet challenge Catherine. ~Karen.
