Itâs my pleasure & my turn to host the Splitcoast Inspiration Challenge! I love to knit so the place I chose really spoke to me. For my card, I was inspired by THIS magazine. I really love the white plants on the watercolor bg.
Originally, I was going to mask the shape of the die cut, then watercolor the bg. But it just didnât work out like I wanted so I went to Plan B where I watercolored the bg then added the die cuts on top. I misted the w/c paper lightly, sprinkled on 4 green & blue colors of Brushos crystals, then misted heavily. After I dried it, I stacked a white die cut slightly offset onto a matching black version to give it a little depth. The greeting was white embossed onto the black strip.
Thanks so much for looking. Closeups & product links are on my blog: The Write Stuff
