It's Tickle a Teapotter day and Denise (card crazy) is our guest hostess. Denise has challenged us to use blueberries or any other kind of berry on our cards. Blueberries are my favorite and I have four bushes out in my yard that are ALMOST ripe. But oddly, I don't have any blueberry stamps. So, inspired by her story of picking blueberries when she was younger, I chose to use blackberries on my card. When I was a kid, we had loads of wild blackberries along the woods-line and we would pick quarts and quarts of them. I thought there was nothing better than a cup of fresh blackberries on a warm summer night. So here are my blackberries which were not easy to color. I've popped them up on some woodsy papers with my sentiment cut out by my trusty ScanNCut. Here is where my card needed that one more thing, so I grabbed my little box of home made enamel dots (pony beads melted in the oven--do not try this in a closed up house--they smell terrible) and added one.

What a pretty card. I like your choice of background papers. And the pony bead looks great -- I've never tried this trick as I read several blog posts from various people and it sounded hit or miss.

delicious, Jen! I understand what you mean about coloring those blackberries...but by the same token, your leaves are awesome.
Those supporting panels are such a great mix of pattern and color.
