I struggled with this card today. Flowers and this Frosted Coffee Filter technique are both not me. I kept having to throw things at the card until I finally decided it was done and I finally like it. I hope Caterina likes it!
I started with the Frosted Coffee Filter tutorial that Melissa linked up in her "Fueled by Caffeine" VSN Challenge. And decided to cut a strip and wrap it on my main panel like a ribbon. I used a springy EF and some paper that matched my reinkers pretty well and then I grabbed my paper flowers. But when I started to stick my flowers onto the card, they just didn't look quite right. So I die cut some greenery and that helped. But the card was still off balance. So I figured I'd add some iridescent sequins. But that wasn't enough. So I grabbed this stitched banner and wrote hello on it. But it still didn't quite look right. So I stamped three little hearts on each side. Finally! It's still not very me, but it's fun to get out of my comfort zone sometimes!

I know what you mean when something doesn't feel quite right, but rest assured that this is a gem. Your instincts guided you well all the way to the finish, I love the combination of patterns and bright beautiful colors. Such a happy and beautiful card.
