I couldn't resist this one for the Flat Stanley Challenge--we were to make a flat card with no embellishments. I couldn't get Flat Stanley out of my head and printed a picture of him. (Find a template at http://www.flatstanley.com/template.htm) He is behind a 4.25 x 5.5 piece of transparency. I stamped on the transparency with StazOn and colored it with Sharpies. The Diploma and Cap are paper pieced. I put a dollar in his other hand and sent it to my nephew who graduated from kindergarten this year.
I had to color the folded over fingers and draw in the finger outlines.

I fondly remember my boys having Stanley as a school project! Made a lot of clothes and he was sent to a lot of great places! This is really a fun idea! I had forgotten him, so now I'll have to make him again....so we'll have him for a scrapbook! THANKS!
