Lisa is our hostess for this week's WTUI challenge - you'll be able to find out all about it HERE .
I had great fun combining the new SAB frogs with the very old Lily Pad wheel. I stamped the wheel on some white card, sponged it with blue and spritzed with water. I stamped it again and cut out the lily pads and lilies. THe pads are coloured with DOX , the lilies just have stickles. The left-hand pad and the lillies are popped up on foam.
The Lawn Fawn and MFT grass borders were cut from card sponged with Forest Moss DOX. I added some little flower sequins in.
The background layer was watercolour paper, misted with water and sprinkled lightly with Brushos. I stamped on the sentiment and flies, and I can't remember which set I took the music stamps from. The flies have Stickles on their wings.
For the frogs, I stamped and embossed them on white card. Working one area at a time I wet them and sprinkled with Brushos. The glasses have Glossy Accents on them, and the other frog has a little party hat from From the Herd - the accessories in that set are a perfect fit for the frogs. I edged all round the panel with a metallic distress crayon and then added it to a white base. I thought I might give it to DH for his birthday, but he says it's not him. Back to the drawing board on that one, so...

Good job fussy cutting those little frogs and I like the bits of stickles on both your flies and the lotus blossoms. As a child, I always thought a birthday card couldn't get any better than if it had glitter on it somewhere - I still think glitter makes it more special!!

Sabrina, this card is unfroggetable! Pun intended! This is frog heaven and so darned cute too! What a wonderful scene you have created for these absolutely delightful frogs. You thought of every little detail with the flowers, the grasses, the lily pads, the flying bugs and the music notes for the croaking frogs. So fun! ~Karen.

Oh no, if my DH said that to me about one of my cards I might start crying. All that work and you have an amazing card. Love all the water layering and colors you used. Thank you for an amazing card sample for the challenge.

Beautifully created pond scene. You got everything in there - water, rushes, lily pads with sparkle, froggies and flies - just the place to sit back and enjoy watching the pond life.

A wonderful combo of water-themed elements brought together in a fun birthday card. I can hear the ribbits of the frogs and the buzzing of the flies to the melody of Happy Birthday.
