Here's a challenge catch-up card. This is my February card for our monthly image swap using a cute image sent to us by Angie (auntangie). I thought he'd look good with some embossed aluminum foil for Carla's "Foiled Again" challenge. And I found the rest of my inspiration for this card in our Featured Stamper's gallery. Olga (memorykeeper) is our Featured Stamper today and I found this card in her gallery that inspired me to cut an oval (which I never do), put an angled piece of woodgrain paper, and embellish with some gears (instead of flowers).
Have you ever seen The Red Green Show? It's hilarious. I colored my bear to look like Red Green (mismatched suspenders and all) and I gave him a Red Green quote--"It doesn't matter if it's duct tape or zip ties, fixed is fixed."

Cute card, Jen! Fun sentiment and the embossed gears back up Red Green bear perfectly. One of my friends introduced me to the Red Green show a few years ago. It is a hoot. Thanks for playing in my challenge.

I absolutely adore this! I think the oval is just perfect for your handy-bear. I LOVE the Red Green Show!! I wish it was still on. It always kept me and the hubby in stitches. He was a fun mix of our fathers. Love your tribute.

What a darling image and a fantastically fun card. I'm not so good at the masculine cards, but you really nailed it. Thanks so much for sharing with us.
Blessings,

Fabulous masculine card...love the gear embossing foil bg! Love the board angled panel and popped gears! Such a nice rendition of Olga's layout turning into a super man card! Chuckling at your sentiment...fits the men in my family to a tee!
