Here is my card for Angie. I was a little stumped on the Great Outdoors theme that Lisa gave us today until I found this stamp, but then I was still stumped for what to do with it. Until I realized that I've also been stumped for awhile on TLC65 - Split Negative. I started working my way through the Technique Challenges from number 1 probably over a year ago and I just haven't come across the right circumstance to try this one until today. It's like this stamp was made for this challenge. Plus it made two cards and this is a great one to have in my stash.
I stamped the image in Versa Mark on both white and black paper. Then I embossed them with black and white. I die cut them and some black and white frames and cut them both in half. Then I stuck them on the card base and didn't even care how well they lined up because that's where I stuck my embossed sentiment strip. In the end the card wanted a pop of color, so I die cut a little heart from red glitter paper. Perfect.

Striking. Such a cool effect. Looks great for the outdoor and winter woods themes. The sentiment strip with a little heart is excellent. Well done! TFS

It took me a while to work out what you did....even after I looked up the original challenge. Wow Jen, your card is sensational. I love how you did the reversing at the top and bottom instead of side by side. Love this to bits!!!!!

Jen, like Susie, it took me a while to identify the negative technique, and now that I know it, its so obvious that your design is brilliant my friend!! Love it!
