How fun that Hawaiian is the Featured Stamper this week - Victoria is such a sweet card artist and has a lot of fun creations in her gallery. This card inspired me:
So instead of a boat window I went with a traditional window, used similar foliage/coral dies, stayed with a beach/sea theme, but I made a wreath and have flamingos. Apparently flamingos are not native to Hawaii but there are some in the Honolulo zoo so I am sticking with them.
Congrats Victoria - thanks for the inspiration, all your sweet, sweet encouraging words to others, and for being such a super member of this community. Millions of hugz.
To make the wreath, I cut a circle and then cut out the middle and glued the ends together. Then I layered on some fussy cut shells from the Seashell Christmas tree image. Then I twisted on some fibers. Then I did another layer of seashells and some kraft foliage splattered with white paint. Added on some Stickles and some pearls.

OH my gosh, Nancy! This is off the charts incredible! You are the queen of mixed media. No clue how you design but I'd love to be there watching. The elements are combined in such an eye appealing way. WOW!
Aww Sis Nancy Mahalo Very Much!! I’m blessed, humbly honored and greatly appreciative!!! So blessed to be a part of wo many masters of magnificent essence and creativity from hearts around the world whom I claim as Ohana!! Pretty much like part of that quote I love... to one person you are the world. And so true so many of the people of the world each is special to me .Mahalo for this magnificent masterpiece Sis I so love it!!! True when people think of Hawaii they think Paradise, White , Black and even green sand beach’s , Pineapples Sugar cane fields, leis , flowers, Hibiscus being a normal symbolic one though we have many others, sun ,swaying hips and hands telling stories!! Never flamingos. But have you notice as I have , for some reason flamingos are making lots of hits and appearances in cards showcasing Hawaii. Welll though they are not a native to Hawaii your right about Honolulu Zoo is a place they have found a home in. And funny you made mention of that... they are really the very first beauties to greet everyone once you enter. They are as magnificently gorgeous as this card Sis Mahalo Much With lots of love which this creation sure radiants it!!
