So, I have always loved seeing art created with collections of buttons and this pillow stopped me in my tracks. ( I would never buy it, I only buy soft on your face if you nap on the sofa kinds but, I do like looking at the layers of texture this has.) The frame was cut 3 times to give it some depth from the center stamped panel. The pearly looking center is also craft a button that has the shank removed. Julie, thanks for this challenge & tfl.

Oh, yes, Stacy, I'm with you about loving art created with buttons. But I agree about having pillows without them! Haha! However, your card is fabulous and really does have all the texture and beauty of that pillow! Love the butters on the snowflake and love the linen background to mimic the pillow fabric. And I always love how you frame things on your cards! I saw your blog email this morning and loved it! Always enjoy reading your process. Hugs and love, sweet friend! xoxo

So pretty, Stacy. Great colors, great vintage/warm feel, and the sparkle and buttons are perfect. Wonderfully done. Hugz

Your snowflake is delightful with the buttons and love the overall nostalgic feel of your card!
I’ve never had any luck with taking shanks off of buttons without destroying them.
I giggled at your comment about the pillow!!!
