This is for TLC Challenge 66 to make Artist Trading Cards. I have never done these before. It is fun to try and capture a scene on a miniature size card. I had a piece of Ballet Blue cardstock sitting on my work area and decided to go with that as my focal color. I wanted to send these to Jen for her students but didn't have any sports, cars or animals stamps so I decided the kids may like the beach. What a fun little set to do. The color wheel shows Real Red as an coordinating color with Ballet Blue so that is what I chose. I saw a card in the ATC gallery by GuarinoMom Gallery at Splitcoaststampers where she made a little ribbon handle for her card and I loved it. I had to do that too.
I used a scruffy brush and sponge to create the sand and the ocean. I used liquid applique on all three cards to create the ocean foam. I painted with watercolor brushes and reinkers. I used a little small spotter brush to create some green sea oats on two of the cards. I used IBB to give the sand texture. How could we ever get along without that stamp?
Thanks for a fun challenge Beth. I would have never tried these.

Kittie, these are just adorable! I love them; you did such a fantastic job with these creations. The kids will absolutely love them.
