I missed you all! I'm just getting back from a lovely weekend of biking and mini-golf on the Cape. I waved to Priscilla as we drove through her town
I've got some serious card-making to catch up on. I figured I'd start by combining today's two challenges.
Today's Tea Party is for our own Craf-T-Bear. I don't know Christi, but I hope she'll like my crafty card. Lisa challenged us to use crafty things on our cards. My other craft is knitting and sometimes crocheting.
So I used this adorable digi from From the Heart Stamps with the corresponding "Knit Happens" sentiment. I colored it all up with Barbara's colors and did go for the dessert of create your own DP. I used the top half of a Power Poppy knitting sentiment and repeated it over and over. I also used SC54. Then I finished off with a simple crocheted heart using a pattern I downloaded from Ravelry.
Two fun challenges! It sure feels good to be back!

Jen, this card had me laughing from the get go- in the best possible way. I love the punny way you got your message across using your 2nd hobby of knitting as the theme. How fun! This little bird with his never ending scarf is so darned cute (my sister made a scarf once that was about 10 feet long too). Your wonderful sentiment with this wonderful pink crocheted heart are the perfect finishing touches on this wonderful card for Christi! ~Karen.

This is such a fun image......I sent that same one on a card to my DD who has stolen all my needles and crochet hooks!
