This is for today's IC653 Lang by Calendars. The image that inspired me was this one (it is the 4th image on the top row - if I did this correctly - LOL).
I cheated a bit. I printed out this digi image on an 8 1/2 x 11 paper and colored it while it was that size. Then after coloring I scanned and shrunk down to the size I needed. I did that so I had easier time with coloring and shading the detail. The main image is with Copics, but the sky is sponged and chalked to get a softer look.

This is so pretty!! I love those mills, it always reminds me of my Granny, her father use to run one.

Such a lovely scene, Barbie! The colors are wonderful. I wish I could do that w/ stamped images..some are so tiny it's almost impossible to color them.
