Karen is our hostess in the Color Challenge this week, and she has asked us to make a card using Powder Pink, Wild Wasabi, Crumb Cake and Chocolate Chip. The dessert option is watercoloring.
This combo was a little bit of a challenge for me, and even after the design took form in my head, I really, really wanted some blue sky and a shining sun. Oh, well, that's the fun of the Challenge--to make a card using only the challenge colors plus neutrals. My neutrals this week are white and gray.
I used hot press watercolor paper for my stamped images. I like using it because it is so smooth. I used my Zig brush markers for the watercoloring, Created the brick wall from a piece of Crumb Cake cardstock sponged with Vintage Photo Distress Oxide Ink (close to Chocolate Chip) through a brick stencil. I hope you like my little woodland friends!
Thanks for stopping by, and please play along with us this week!

So many great cards with this color combo....like how you did the brown approach. Delightful scene you created with the fun critters, and that super brick wall. TFS
