This week Bugaboo is celebrating its 8th Birthday and today's challenge is to create and bold and bright birthday card. So I browsed the birthday gifts section of the inspiration site that Angie has given us and found this fun fairy kit. Now those are bright and bold colors.
I started off by printing out the spring boot because the flowers reminded me of the flowers in the fairy kit. As a side note, my CG3 color marker is running out of ink. Man. I can't replace just one Spectrum Noir. Guess I'll have to try to match that color in Copics. I used my ExactlyWrite Address guide to make pink stripes behind the image and grabbed some polka dot DP for the matte. But I decided I didn't want it to have a white background behind the polka dots, so I colored it pink with my PP5 marker. Finished with some yarn that reminded me of the yarn in the fairy wand and stuck on some star foam stickers that I colored with BP7. And I ended up with a crazy card.
