This card will be used for one of my many October family birthdays. A few tidbits about the card: The peek-a-boo fall scene was stamped on white cardstock, colors sponged and shaded and finished with Copic markers. The Hardwood bg was stamped with Gold Metallic ink onto Early Espresso cardstock. The leaf pattern was die-cut out of the bg to allow the scene to peek through after it was adhere behind. The Hardwood bg and the chairs are both embossed with the Woodgrain embossing folder to add texture. The Chairs are popped up).
I will also be entering my card into the following challenges:
#1-Inspiration Challenge (IC615), which required you to build a card from an inspiration on the Pinterest Board: "My New House Ideas." My color scheme came to me from this inspiration: https://www.pinterest.com/pin/387591111662780248/, which led me to realize this same color palette would work the next challenge as well!
#2-Color Challenge: to create a card using Old Olive, Cherry Cobbler, and Pumpkin Pie, and for dessert: add leaves.
#3-Dirty Gals September 2017 Monthly Themes: "A Wrinkle in Time." My card represents Fall, a "time" of year that arrives every year at the same time. Plus the wrinkled wood grain of tree bark shown in the card BG.
#4-Alphabet Challenge, Round 8, Letter F + the double challenge: show swirls in your card. Fall is for "F", and the swirling leaves riding on the winds around and around my tree, plus the swirls on the background bark.
#5-Use It Challenge: To use something from your cardmaking stash that has been gathering dust! For me, that would be the retired stamp set "Happy Times" and even the Adirondack chairs..."Seasonal Layers." I bought this chair die way back in May, and I'm just using it for the first time. YIKES!!

Gorgeous!! Love your creative idea to put the fall scene in the shape of a leaf. So clever! Looks terrific. Fabulous texture. Love the wood-grain background and the netting. The Cherry Cobbler chairs are the perfect element. Well done! Fantastic card. TFS
