Fall is my favorite color of the year. I always miss Kentucky and Tennessee most during this time. It's hard to believe week 3 of September is upon us. I'm so enjoying being part of the design team. Pam gave us wonderful colors and I actually have them...old olive, cherry cobbler, pumpkin pie. I had been wanting to do a chalk board card since Mary introduced black magic back into the stamping scene a few weeks back. I had the cute little stick horse image by new clear dollar stamps that seemed perfect for this weeks colors and a chalkboard card. I stamped the image on black with Versa Mark ink and embossed with white embossing powder. I colored the Image with watercolors that I made from pearl ex pigments, gumarabic, glycerin and distilled water. I like the shine and vivid color from the pearl ex over the chalk. The leaves and take die are impression obsession. The chalkboard die is sizzix. The crackle background is a wheel by clear snap with white SU rollargrqph wheel ink cartridge. This card was so simple to make, I feel like I might have let the team down and shouldn't even post it. Yet, I still like its cute little child like style for some reason.
Thanks for looking and commenting.
See you in the gallery.

Tonda, your cards are never a disappointment. You are so creative. Loving your chalkboard and the little stick horse. He's so cute romping in the leaves...reminds me of my grandkids. HA

Tonda, you have made another cute card. I love how you made your own watercolor medium with the pearl ex. I also like the vivid color from the pearl ex. The little horse rolling in the leaves was a great idea. Now he has had play time, it is time for him to pick up that rake and do a little work.
