WT650 = "rescue me"....revamping a prior card to hopefully make it more pleasing.
I never really liked this card....some poor soul got it for Christmas. Using the same die cut and gold accents, I gave it a major facelift. Two die cuts were made: one in white CS and one with watercolor paper. The insets were watercolored and placed back into the white die cut.

I actually love both cards. I would have loved to receive the original and this one is equally elegant. I love your technique of using both regular and watercolor card stock with the same die cut and inlaying the watercolor in the frame. Gorgeous.

What a gorgeous remake of the card, Sallie! I think the original card is just as gorgeous! Actually, I've not seen a card of yours that I would consider needing a remake!! You are a fantastic artist, Sallie!

Both cards are lovely. This one has more flair with the added color. The coloring of the ornament is fabulous. The white background looks crisp & clean. I'm sure the recipient of the first card loved it. Great job with the redo. TFS

I would have been happy to be the poor soul who received the first card as I think it was very pretty. That said, this red ornament just pops. Your talented watercoloring is amazing on this ornament. Your first card the background was a wow factor and the red ornament on this one is a WOW factor.

Sallie...like your first card...it was quite pretty, but I do LOVE your remake with its lovely inlaid watercolored red ornament and holly leaves. So very much like that Krylon gold pen ink and the gold foil mat and gold embossed sentiment on the green frame...makes all the gold POP!
