Stamped poppies on PTI Stamper's Select and again on heavy watercolor paper. Colored the blooms on the watercolor paper using Copics (YR02, YR04, YR07, YR09, YR18, T3, T5, Y23, Y26) and fussy cut. Covered with Wink of Stella and then added extra shimmer with shimmer spray.
Colored the poppies on my focal panel with just YR02. Used glossy accents to adhere the watercolor paper blooms for nice dimension.
Assembled my matting layers and added focal panel.
Stamped and gold embossed sentiment (MFT) on scrap of black cardstock. Die cut sentiment and added to focal panel.
TFL!

You're poppies just pop right off the page with your gorgeous coloring! Love the light-dark textured bg cardstock with your gold and black matting and the coordinating black/ gold embossed sentiment. Everything works so well together to bring this OUTSTANDING work of art!

Debbie, I can see why you're very proud of this card! Your copic colouring on the flowers is perfect and your sentiment is placed in just the right position. And the use of black and gold makes it such an elegant card!
