A quick card for Anna's fun gingham + mixed media MIX233 challenge today.
It's been a tough week but thanks to an early post I was able to get the gingham and flowers stamped before work (after failing to find some stamped gingham that I was sure lurked in my scraps box!!) - and find the raffia for my little bow.
Floral image stamped on the gingham and twice on white card, coloured and pieced. There's Stickles on the butterfly. Distressed the edges after cutting, and layered it up onto a white lacy circle.
Kraft layer - stamped Work of Art in ColorBox Frost White for the sentiment, then stippled Vintage Photo through drywall mesh tape. I guess it was already more than one medium with the ink and the pencils, but I added some spatters of gold Twinkling H2Os. Stamped the sentiment, distressed the edges and then added piercing with a sewing machine with no thread in it. Image panel popped up on foam tape.

Ah, Sabrina, I agree...in spite of the tough week, you managed to make a beautiful country-feel card with the gingham. I love gingham and think it's so beautiful with flowers and anything country. I love the background and distressing. (Never thought about using my sewing machine with no thread for piercing. Ha!) Hugs, sweet friend!

Great card. I jus love all your details, like the paper piercing and the stenciling and the gold spatters and the distressed edge on your gingham circle and the adorable raffia bow. Wow! Just Wow.
