Pam is our hostess this week and she has chosen old olive, soft suede, gold and for desert: Christmas greenery.
On a piece of soft suede cs I stamped my woodgrain stamp to create the panel across the top. Stamped and die cut the greenery - but since I was using 2 colors on each stamp I colored directly on the stamp with a marker and used my MISTI to stamp each color one at a time. Gold embossed the pinecones and the sentiment. When I was assembling, I popped up the top panel with the suede cs, a strip of old olive, and the greenery - this gives the card some great dimension. Added sequins for sparkle.

Maura, that woodgrain stamp really shows up well on your beautiful card. Great sprigs of pine needles and cones!

This is such a pretty card. I LOVE how you have used the die cut image across the card front, your design is just wonderful. Wonderful stamped background as well. Great take on the challenge, thanks so much for playing along with us this week over at the Mod Squad.
