I tried something new for my background. I Versamarked the black cardstock and heat set it with Clear embossing powder to give it a shiny look with the idea that my clouds created with the Cloudy Day embossing folder would stand out more. I think it worked GREAT!
Ingredients: Stampin' Up products: Cardstocks--Shimmery White (cardbase), Basic Black, Real Red, Vellum. DSP Stack-Brights. Stamps-Lift Me Up (front sentiment), Sealed with Love (inside sentiment), Valentine's Love (hearts-inside/ retired). Die: Up & Away framelits (balloon, clouds). Punch: Curvy Corners (retired). Embossing Folder: Cloudy Day (retired). Embossing Powder: Real Red Glitter. Other: Zutter Corner Rounder punch. Recollections: Foam Glitter Hearts; Charcoal Anthracite Embossing Powder, Dies: Papertrey Ink-Clouds/ Hero Arts-Cloud.

Your masculine valentine card is terrific. Masculine cards are not easy for me to do. I think that I have only made one card for a guy and it just didn't feel right as I designed it. I need to not let masculine cards intimidate me and I think that you have enabled me to make one (probably soon since it's our son's birthday next week). Carlene, thank you so much for leaving those nice comments on my cards. I love making cards and looks like you do to.
