Sabrina's looking for lighthouses in this month's Tickle a Teapotter challenge, Shining Light of Hope. Hope you'll play along!
I used one of my favorite Art Impressions sets to create my lighthouse scene. I stamped the images, used a damp paintbrush to pull out the shading. I colored on grass stamps with waterbased markers, then scribbled the markers on a ceramic tile and water colored with them. After my scene was dry, I toned down the colors by sponging DI ink over the panel. I die cut the image panel, embossed the kraft paper and mounted on card base. Stamped the sentiment on vellum, scribbled yellow marker on the back of the vellum and mounted the sentiment panel on white cs so it would show up better. Added the twine knot to finish. TFL

Beautiful card - you really did an awesome job using other elements to enhance the nautical theme - it all fits together really well. You watercolor is really incredible and is showcased by the delicate edge die cut.

Gorgeous lighthouse scene. So soft and pretty. Awesome die-cut frame for it. The textured background is terrific. Fabulous card. You are an artist. TFS
