Our challenge today is to add texture - mine is the embossed leaves, die cut sentiment, and enamel dots. Stamped and embossed the leaves, sponged on colors, stamped the text from French Foliage in multiple places (wiping off sections first), splattered with diluted inks and white acrylic paint, spritzed with shimmer spritz for fabulous sparkle IRL, die cut the "happy" border die, assembled with enamel dots.

This jumped right out at me! Such a striking color combination and I like the text and splatters. Emboss Resist technique is my all-time favorite. Into my faves!

Ah, Maura, it is always such a treat to see one of your beautiful cards!! The ombre sponged bg, with text, looks amazing and I love the embossed leaves for texture!!

You really did accomplish getting a lot of texture in this card. I love all that is going on in the background, but the sentiment still stands alone. I bet it really sparkles IRL. Thanks for joining us at Seize the Birthday.
