Thank you Ally for the creative license sketch this week. I chose to use this funky, cool, hip, and mod abstract leaves from Ryn at Designs by Ryn. They are a set of three. I stamped them on a busy patterned Basic Grey 'Indian Summer' paper. Embossed and fussy cut. They are propped up about the background that was dry embossed with an old Cuttlebug folder 'Bird on Branch'. Used another leafy pattern from the 'Indian Summer collection in a mustardy color for the bottom panel. There are ghosty leaves. The Hero Arts sentiment was also inked with the VersaFine 'Sepia' and embossed. Added the German Scrap in copper and a piece of string at the top.
I am not ready to give up fall, though the enormous oak tree in my yard along with 23 Japanese Maples are whispering otherwise. Their falling means lots of raking for me...so if I disappear again, you'll know what I am doing!
Happy Day~o

Fantastic card Susan! The pattern within those leaves takes me back to art class many decades ago! I love the circles in the DP - a little bit of bokeh effect amongst the fall leaves perhaps. Gorgeous colours; we have an oak, Norway maple, and sweet cherry who all hold on to their leaves until mid November. Sometimes I am raking snow as well as leaves!

I remember all the pretty papers that were in the Indian Summer collection from Basic Grey. I loved my 6 ny 6 pad I had that I have about used all of. The colors and your paper coordination on this card are gorgeous. That is the reason fall is my favorite season--the rich and wonderful colors, although we don't get to experience them so much here in my part of Texas.
