This card is for two challenges. Sonja asked us to make a birthday card to be sent for hospice patients, and Vicki gave us the colors of Strawberry slush, sahara sand and crumb cake. Started my stamping the image on canvas paper using the Misti. I was trying to imitate the look of rust on the old truck. Took the strawberry slush and gave the truck 2 layers of the reinker, added crumbcake on the top layer. taking the two colors, mixed them, and put this for the last layer.Masked and added the trees. Embossed the cardstock with the woodgrain folder inked with crumb cake. Added a frame from copper paper. TFL

Loving your old rusty truck. Nice copper framing. There is a farm by us with old rusty cars and trucks. I love to drive by slow and take it all in. I did the same with your card. Slowing took in the details. Lovely card.

What a wonderful looking truck....as funny as it sounds we had a pink old truck on the farm a lot like this or the Sanford and son one, if you know them...never got to ride it as already in semi car heaven...would have been neat to have the money and fi it u though...long story short great card for your hospice...so sweet...TFS..:0)

Wow - you did great with these colors and your goal of making a masculine card. That's awesome. The woodgrain embossed background is excellent. Well done! TFS
