Mary's color this week speaks "Autumn". Made a birthday card for my brother, from a new stamp. We were raised on a dairy farm, so it will remind him of our younger days. Stamped, embossed and colored with the inkpads and paint brush. Stippled the trees with a scruffy brush, and added wink of stella. Added white with my ink. embossed bg and scored to make a border. Everything is going well, until it was time to write the sentiment. One problem with dip pens and inks, they sometimes bleed. I was not going to start over so took a copic fine liner and outlined the sentiment. It worked. TFL

What a lovely Autumn scene with the trees all turned to REDS and oranges. Last week in VT the trees hadn't even started, but we've had a few cold nights, so I'll bet they are beautiful now.......like yours!!

Wow, glorious fall scene, Linda!! Love how you mixed some of the leaf colors into the road and grass - such a great look, you are so talented, my friend! Faved.

What an amazing scene stamp! The colors are just perfectly placed. Most impressive are the details like the leaves along the edge of the road! Absolutely gorgeous!

Bestill my heart- this is gorgeous! I grew up on a farm and you have made a truly incredible farm scene here - your brother will love it! If I were him, I would frame this beauty to enjoy for years to come. Dang, I am sorry to read that your pen bled a little when you went to do the sentiment. It really is a bummer when this happens when the card is basically complete, but you would never know it now! It looks terrific! Simply amazing- I love, love, love this gorgeous farm scene and everything you have done to give it that "fall magic". ~Karen.
