It feels like cheating to post this, but I was working on this during the week and was just about to go to the post office to see how many thousands of dollars it will be to mail a rock. When I checked the galleries, I just had to post it....it is definitely dimensional for the F4A challenge. The reason I feel like I am bending the rules is that this is just a remake of a rock I made before. A friend had admired it and now that it is her birthday, I made her another one as a gift. Very straight forward...find an image and a rock that are similar sized. Color the image with your favorite medium - I used copics. Tear the edges and glue to the rock, then add a little color (I used in Inca gold) to blend the paper and the rock. TFL, Francie

Well, I've never received a rock in the mail but how awesome it would be to find one of these in my mailbox. Wow! So creative and such an awesome Fall scene.

I hope it didn't work out too expensive to mail! What a wonderful and thoughtful gift. The little spray of flowers and twine is one of your trademarks, always so pretty to see.

I love your rock and love the wonderful image you used and love the stunning coloring! When I was little my mom use to do funny sayings on rocks. They were always a hit with people she got many requests for them. Your friend will just love this stunning rock.
