My last few cards have been mixed media. This is not because I have all of a sudden gotten in touch with my inner Dini, but rather, because my MOJO has flown the coop....zippo, zilch, nada (you should see the creative way my auto correct tried to fix those words). When all else fails, throw whatever is nearby onto a piece of heavy weight cardstock and see what appears after all the dust settles. I really did start by taking the white kitchen paper towel that I used to wipe up some spilled gesso
and glued it all lumpy and wrinkled to the CS. Then I glued some scrunched up cheese cloth down and globes of light modeling paste through a stencil. I covered the whole mess with gesso. Next I sprayed delusion sprays, blotted, sprayed, blotted etc etc etc. Since I do not have a single clock stamp or die cut I used the gear die cut, and metal spinner, and wood numbers for a faux clock. All of that was covered with inka gold. I added gold tule, lots of different color perfect pearls dots, and a metal bow with wire wrapped into coils. What a glorious mess I ended up with. My husband wasn't sure if this was a large mistake or what I planned to make. I sure was fun to experiment like this. TFL, Francie

Oh, my gosh, Francie - this is amazing!! So much glorious color, texture, and depth! I especially love the colors, and the little perfect pearl dots on the edges.
If this is what you create when you have lost your mojo then I can hardly wait to see what you come up with when you are in the throws of a "creative streak". This is absolutely amazing. I had to sit and look to take in all the things you described.

LOVE this, Francie. I bet that the texture in real life must be simply amazing. It's so obvious you had fun making it, it shows in the result. Love your wordy feathers, but I don't think I can pick out a single particular favourite element, it's all just fabulous.

Ok that's it, I'm only on the 2nd card of this challenge and blown away! I'm selling off my stuff and finding a new hobby!!! This is incedible! Why is it when I'm messing around, it truly looks like a mess and you've created ART! This is an amazing collection of colors, metals, textures, and other elements!

Is this what it's like to drop acid and feel time spinning out of control? (No experience I've had) These are the illusions I got listening to some of the music back in the 70's when the bands started experimenting . . . . Love all the colors, texture and how everything seems to be melting in and out of place.
