For this week's diagonal CAS challenge and for this week's natural technique challenge. A couple of weeks ago, my line dancing buddies sent me a speedy recovery bouquet. It's clearly nearing its end, so I clipped the petals from one of the more spent carnations to impress into the panel, which I did, embossing them into (and staining) burlap. I then sponged the diagonals and stamped the bold sentiment.
Who knew a dark red carnation would stain as purple?

Wow! Love the color the carnation left, very unexpected. And the pop of yellow against this is so effective along with your black sentiment. Truly a pretty card!

The red carnation made a super purple stain. Great idea to keep in mind for grunge designs. This is so pretty with the ripple texture and yellow diagonals.

Now I'm getting all kinds of ideas of what to do with the rest of my batch of flower pressings! Your embossing and added Stenciling are great additions to the flower image! It makes a really unique design! Fantastic!
