Got the game board panel finished and was trying to decide how to finish off the card - Found this black stitched "frame" in my box of black cardstock scraps and was happy to find that it was the perfect size - both for the card and to fit my sentiment. LOVE when that happens!
The focal image has 2 layers of cardstock under it to give it dimension (great way to use up some of those panels where you got smudges, or the coloring wasn't right, or whatever - RECYCLING OPPORTUNITY!.) I cut the panel just slightly smaller than the opening inside the frame.
Stamped and embossed my sentiment and called it done.
LOVE these dies (the set also includes an X and an O) - I want to sit here and make all sorts of things with them.
TFL!

What a lovely card! I love how simple it is, and yet it packs a punch visually. The combination of white, red, black and gold is a classic and fits so well with a love theme.
And how fun is it that you recycled some material?! I always mean to do that, but remember after I've cut into another brand new sheet of cardstock... Maybe I'll move my scraps basket closer to my Big Shot and see if that helps.
